click for Wolf FormFinally, Carson thought to herself, A day off! This was what the fifteen year old girl wanted. Something like a mini vacation to get her mind off of all the crazy drama and the stupid rules. Sure it sucked to have to walk this far, but Carson wasn't complaining. She liked to walk, and run. Both worked just fine. Now Car was walking into a clearing in the woods. There were a few large boulders here and there in this mini meadow, and the grass was just past her knees in height. Her long brown hair was in two braids and she wore jean shorts and a pink and white football looking kind of jersey. Her bare feet touched the grass, she didn't bother being careful not to step on things to sharp, it'd only take a minute to heel anyway. She sat in the middle of the small meadow now, leaning against a large rock. Car pulled a long blade of grass from the ground and started weaving it through her fingers. She sighed and (still weaving the grass back and forth) watched what she could see in the clouds. Originally her plan was to go cliff diving, but that wasn't something she could do without supervision, so she settled for this.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole was around here, not, for once, planning on cliff diving. He loved the view of the waters the cliff gave. Sometimes, especially on days where the bossy alpha would finally give you a stupid day off, it was the perfect thing to do. His alpha was starting to cool down, but he heard from Jason, the alpha, that Lucy and Carson found another bloodsucker, so things started to get tense again.
But now, for once, it's settled down, once again. He was taking this opportunity before another bloodsucker was spotted. The vacation never lasted long, and they seemed to get farther and farther apart. The pack believed that it was because Jason was feeling rather stressed now that the Cullens were back. Jason didn't know what to do, or how to handle them.
For now, Cole tried to get that off all his mind. He ran there, since he didn't have a vechial (since he really didn't need one). Technologly, he was still fifteen since werewolves didn't age while they were werewolves, but he still claimed he was sixteen. After a while, he might stop counting and start at twenty-five when he was aging again, but who knew.
He was coming to a small meadow that lead to the cliff and saw that had already beaten him to it. But a small smile came on his face when he saw it was just Carson. She seemed to be enjoying the 'vacation' too. He approached her, crouching to her level, "You too huh?" He asked with the same smile planted on his face. His brown eyes glanced toward the view quickly before his attention attracted to Carson's response.

click for Wolf FormAs she watched the clouds Carson couldn't help but hope it would rain, even just a little. For once she really wanted the water droplets to come down from the sky. Her hands stopped their motion and she set them in her lap, her eyes now set on the blade of grass that was being twisted into a knot over and over again. No wonder Car never got a vacation, she didn't know what to do with herself. She could've stayed at her house and jumped on the trampoline, run around outside, watch TV, sleep, bake cookies even. But she didn't want to do any of that, she wanted to be away form the house. Away from the reservation and all of the drama it held. She needed a break, even if it only lasted 20 minutes. She was totally oblivious to the fact that Cole was running through the forest and eventually into the same meadow as she was in. Within moments she heard his voice. "You too huh?" The sound made her look up instantly. God something is wrong with me! I didn't even realize he was here! Over the past week or so, Carson convinced herself that her senses were dulling. She smiled though and nodded. "Yep." She said dropping the blade of grass. Car moved over a bit, if he wanted to sit. "Lately being far away from my house is a very good thing." She said with a laugh. It was obvious to pretty much everyone in the pack that her and Jason weren't really getting along lately. She hated being pushed around and he just wanted to give orders... thats how it seemed to be going in her eyes. The wind blew lightly and Car looked up at the sky which was slowly getting grayer. Good, maybe it would rain. Actually chances are it will rain... but she wanted it to rain (not hard) but when it was finally convenient for her.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He was glad that she was inviting instead of blowing him off. He didn't get that often, so when he did get it, it felt like someone hit him with a rock on his side. It burned for no reason. He shouldn't care about such silly things, but it was one of his emtional striking points, though Cole wasn't typically an emotional guy. Some may say different, but that is what he saw him.
Cole had to agree what Carson was saying about back home. Everyone knew, since there was no secrets within the pack, that Jason and her were not getting along. And he did mean, they wern't getting along more then normal. Everyone could see what both sides were at. Carson didn't like being bossed around, surprisingly, like her brother. Jason despised being bossed around, just like Carson, but since Jason was the alpha, no one bossed him around. They were more alike they any of them thought.
On Jason's side, he was being a protective father. He wasn't even a father, but since they were out of one at the moment, Jason was the only one left. A girl that was a close friend of the packs, Cori, was like the mother. But maybe now the mother would be replaced with LuAna. Cole douted it, since she was only, what, sixteen? He was glad werewolves didn't age, or that relationship would sort of be kind of akward. A twenty-one year old and a sixteen year old? It didn't sound back the older they got, but at the moment, it didn't seem like a great relationship.
Which lead his thoughts on imprinting. Cole wasn't sure his opinion on it. A part of him wanted to, just to see who he would wind up with. Or the thought that the girl would never break his heart with another guy, since they were equal for each other. Another part of him didn't want to imprint so he could have a choice in who he wanted. Plus, he been inside Jason's head, it was a little obsessing. Cole didn't want to feel obsessive. So overal, he wasn't sure if imprinting was a good or bad thing. But more then likely, he didn't have to deal with it since imprinting was suppose to be extremely rare. Everyone was surprised Jason did it. Maybe it was an alpha thing.
"Aw, Jason's been hard on all of us in different ways. He's just being a regular older sibling. Annoying and in your face on what you can and cannot do." Cole didn't know this from personal experience, but it was just kind of a common sense kind of thing. If the brother wasn't being bossy, then it was like they wern't doing their job. Or that was how Cole looked at it. He didn't actually have to live with that theory. Maybe if he did have an older brother or sister, his opinion would change.

click for Wolf FormCarson's eyes remained toward the sky. She was so happy that she could finally be away from everything. She didn't mind that she had company now. She could easily put up with Cole. She found it easy to put up with him. "Aw, Jason's been hard on all of us in different ways. He's just being a regular older sibling. Annoying and in your face on what you can and cannot do." Carson heard this and rolled her eyes. Typically answer, but it was the truth. She shook her head and looked over at Cole. "I'll trade places with you!" She said enthusiastically, a smile on her face and everything. Things at home would probably change soon anyways, or at least once Lu'Ana found out about all of this imprint crap. As much as it was real Car didn't believe in it. Well, it was more like she didn't want to. Maybe I can stay at Cori's. She thought, but she knew that wouldn't happen. Thing was though, Jason always said how immature Car was, but Carson found Ana to be at the same maturity level if not lower then herself... and at a year older. It bugged her. Carson put her legs out in front of her and sighed as she bent in half and grabbed the back of her heels. She sat back up, straightening and leaning back against the rock. She'd just remembered she left her phone on the charger at home... no wonder this little trip was so peaceful. The wind blew just a little harder and a light drizzle started falling. Jut like she wanted. Car started drawing shapes on her legs now with her nails, out of boredom of course. It was lie when you gave her free time she didn't know what to do. "So whatcha wanna do?" She asked with a sigh while she concentrated on drawing a square in her skin.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole gave a crooked smile at her comment. He wouldn't trade his life for anyone else's of course, and thats what made it even funnier for him. "There is no way your dragging me into that sibling buisness." He told her jokingly. No, there was no way, so in a way, it was the truth, but the humor in it made it a laugh.
By what she did, she didn't seem like she was doing much with her time. Cole couldn't help but give a chuckle as he thought maybe Carson didn't know what to do with her time. That would be Carson. But then again, any free time was probably the best time in the world. Cole wouldn't know about that, so it was hard to imagine what it would be like without getting inside her head as werewolves.
A smirk appeared on his face at 'what do you want to do'. He looked at the cliff, wondering if they should go cliffdiving. Cole suddenly, though he wasn't planning on it the way up here, had the urge to jump off a cliff. Not in that way though. Cliff diving was a popular sport in the werewolf world. Mostly because you couldn't get killed from it, so it was the thrillment of it. "I have the sudden urge to cliff Dive." He said with entusiasm in his voice.

click for Wolf FormSo there was no way he was going to be 'dragged into that sibling business'? Lucky for him he could say that. Carson laughed a little and shook her head. She continued with trying to make the pattern on her leg. It never stayed long enough to admire though. The shallow scarps that maybe scored the top layer of her skin healed to quickly. This frustrated her in a way, but at the same time it was calming, being able to draw the figures over and over again. "I have the sudden urge to cliff Dive." Hearing this, Carson looked at Cole with a confused expression. "Here? Where the water is way more shallow then the water a dive point?" She turned her head away and looked forward again. She shrugged and got up. Her bare feet made light indents in the earth, and the height of the grass was just past her knees. "Okay!"

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall His smile returned wider, as the energy filled him. He often did this when people liked his ideas, or at least commited to them. That was what was happening here. It made him feel important. So with that, he practially jumped up, feeling the grass touch the bottom of his legs.
Since Cole was really tall, or average werewolf height, he couldn't help but laugh a little as he looked down at Carson's size. She was an average human girl, which was very small compared to the skyscraper Cole. That was the situation with most humans that Cole hung out with, but it was different when it was someone from his own pack. Then again, Lucy was kind of short too. Must have been a girl thing.
He looked over to the cliff, approaching the edge of it. The waves were crashing down below him. He had no fear, for he had done Cliff Diving so many other times before. With a deep breath in, he leaped into the air, giving a loud excited yell as he jumped off. Gravity yanked him down to the water, and the time in air was very short, it seemed.
He hit the water with a splash, and the cold hit him, but didn't bother him at all. Kicking to the surface, he gasped for air, looking for the closest place to land. Over, not far away, was a small place the water touched the land. The land rolled around to the cliff, making it an endless cycle. Swiming in truimp, he reached the land part. It wasn't excatally a beach, since there was too many rocks for it, but it soon turned to the grass they had eariler. He patiently waited at the bottom for Carson to do her turn, keeping an eye on her. If anything happened to her, Cole was going to get attacked like last night's dinner when they figured out he was the bright one that suggested it.

click for Wolf FormWhen he stood the grass seemed like a slightly over grown lawn. It took effort now to look at him, but she was used to it by now. She walked with him to the edge of the cliff and looked down as he jumped. She heard his yelling and laughed. She watched him hit the water and shortly after reach land. Now it was her turn. Carson too had had her share of diving moments, but instead of jumping from a stand still, she got a running start. It was just easier and helped gain a little more power so she didn't run into to many rocks at the bottom (which has happened in the past). Car ran now and jumped doing an aerial in the air. It was kind of like a no handed cart-wheel. She done the stunt plenty of times before in her backyard on ground, gymnastics was kind of her thing. She was soon surrounded by the coolness of the water. She came to the surface and swam to where Cole was. Her two braids still hung in front of her shoulders, but they were now saturated. Her pink and white jersey clung to her like skin, and her shorts became a darker color. Classic kind of thing like after you jump into a pool. She was laughing though as she got out of the water.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall His eyes followed her moves, watching her hit the water. He waited until she popped out of the water before doing anything else. With a smile, he shook his head rapidly, almost like a dog, letting drops of water fly in every direction. His eyes glimmered with more excitment to do it again. His shorts were now wet, and he wasn't wearing anything else. A breeze flew by, but it didn't effect him.
He started to walk up, when he turned behind him to talk to Carson. "By the way, nice take off." He told her with a hint of laughter behind his voice. He was reffering to what she did as she jumped off. Cole knew Carson was a gymnastic kind of girl, so that wasn't a surprise.
He contiuned to walk up the hill, feeling the grass grow the farther he went up. He reached the top of it again, but something this time stopped him. Thinking that he heard something, he whipped his head around, but nothing was there. It was strange, and it kind of scared Cole a little bit, but there wasn't a trace of it anywhere. It was probably just Cole imagining things again. He did that more then once, and all times got him in trouble.

click for Wolf FormShe was soon done laughing and now focused on ringing out her shirt as much as possible even if she was just going to jump back in. Her bare feet touched the light path gently and she had to step a little higher to keep up with Cole and not get tripped by the grass. Carson's focus seemed to be totally on the drying of her clothing. She wasn't the biggest fan of walking around in wet cloths. Car did notice something, and it was that Cole kept looking back. She thought nothing of it the first time or so, but when it started to become continuous she was down right confused. Carson smoothed out the pink and white jersey and jogged a bit to keep up with Cole. "Something wrong?" She asked when he looked back. Carson followed his gaze for a moment and saw nothing. What did she know anyways, though? She was the one who couldn't smell the bloodsucker down the beach, or hear people even approach her lately.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He wasn't sure what to tell her. It should have been a good yes or no, but he wasn't sure if anything was wrong. That's what upset him the most. He wasn't sure if he was just going insane, he was starting to imagine things, or there was really something out there that he couldn't see. But, trying to put that out of his mind and be his carefree self, he told Car, "I thought I heard something, but I guess it was nothing." He made a simple shrugged, followed by a light smile on his face. Glad that he could be himself when he tried, he contiuned to walk up the hill.
He chuckled a little to himself when he spotted the place they were sitting not too long ago. There was two dent in it, one larger then the other, but they disappeared as they got farther up the hill, then finally, it was the regular grass. Cole stopped at the bottom of the hill, this time, planning to get a running start before he leaped off the edge.
He took off in a human sprit, so a werewolf jog, then feeling nothing below his feet. As soon as that happened, he made three front flips in the air, hitting the water on his fourth. He was lucky, the way he landed. If it were anywhere else, it would a little painful. He swam up to the weird shore thing again, but instead of getting up, he stopped half way out of the water and lay on it. His eyes were directed toward the cliff at Car.
He wasn't sure why he was laying down either. It just seemed to do the right thing at that time. It wasn't like he was tired, for he only did two jumps and swam. But, it was still relaxing to do so. His knees were still underwater while the small waves hit his sixpack stomach.

click for Wolf FormCarson nodded in response to Cole's reply. She didn't think much of it, which was a good thing because if she thought to much about anything she'd go crazy for sure. Instead she just focused on getting to the top of this hill. walking in an upward direction was not her favorite thing, yet never did she complain about something that stupid. It was pointless to waist your breath on something that couldn't be helped. She could see the top now and sooner then later they reached their starting point. Carson watched Cole take a running start and she watched from the edge. When he flipped she couldn't help but crack a smile. When he was out of the way she backed up and took a running start, but she couldn't afford to go at human pace, she had to run at a faster pace to land in a decent spot. Car jumped and did half an aerial into a back tuck, a simple move when free falling. She hit the water and came up quickly. She never stayed under long. She looked over at Cole who was just laying there and shook her head as she swam over. Now most girls her age would freak out if they ever saw the people she hung out with (meaning the pack). They would all drool over how they were tall, muscular, and shirtless in most cases. That would be the general reaction, but being so used to it the thought never even registered in Carson's mind. "Nice flips."

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He watched her hit the water before looking back up at the sky. The sun was still up, but not as much now. In fact, it was climbing lower and lower in the sky. He didn't know that he had been out of his house so long. He knew he got around the cliffs around...lets say... twoish. Who knew what time it was now?
He heard Carson coming out of the water. He had to admit, she was growing to a nice looking woman. Actually really good looking. Okay, Cole realized he was under doing it, but he didn't want to think of her any other then nice looking, or he was going to get killed by Jason. He was defintally going to have to watch out for new boyfriends sooner then he thought. Jason was also very fatherly like when it came to guys and carson.
"Why, thank you. I worked hard on perfecting those." He laughed, telling her that was a lie. He didn't spend a lot of time on it. It wasn't very hard to do front flips. Though, it did take some time, he had to give it that much credit. "Do you know what time it is?" He asked, remembering what he was thinking about eariler. It wasn't like he was in a hurry; he was just curious. Plus, he didn't want his poor parents to worry, since that was all they seemed to do now.

Carson's attention was caught by the question. She thought about it and looked up toward the sun. "Um... maybe four-ish." She said as she moved up onto the land thing a little more. It wasn't that she didn't like the water, it was more along the lines of she was to short for that spot, if that makes sense. She sat with her legs out in front of her, letting the water hit her feet and ankles. It was peaceful sitting here. It made her glad that she wasn't sitting in the grass all alone for her time off, not that she wouldn't have liked that, but still it was more fun when not alone.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole figured he should have probably gotten up, but he was so contrable in the spot he was. Maybe he could return over here once he jumped off again, who knew. He sat up, looking at Carson with his chocolate brown eyes. He made a small smile to himself, itching to make a comment on how short she was. She was laying next to him, looking as if the same height, but only her ankles were in the water.
"I think I'll do one more, then take it down here. Who knew that cliff diving took so much out of you?" He asked with amusment. He didn't realize it until he said it outloud. It was very energy taking, which was strange when you were a werewolf with boundless energy. Maybe it was the effect the water had. That's mostly the reason why bloodsuckers had the advantage at the water, beside they could swim better.
With that said, he stood up, walking to the edge, waiting for Carson this time before he made another giant leap. This was defintally goint to be the last ones that they did, since it was getting late anyways. No one was suppose to be out after dark unless the alpha said so. But since they were on vacation, they had no excuse this time. Which was a shame, since it was fun to sneak out at night.
That reminded Cole. Pretty soon, it was going to be the gathering thing. Where they ate a week of food in one night, and Cole's parents told the stories of the werewolves, except this time, they knew it was real. It was a fun time, and it turns out you found out more because before, you wern't really paying attention, and now, you knew the stories were true. OoC: The only idea I have is that one of them (preferably carson to make it more dramatic when they get home) to jump off the cliff again, but they landed it wrong and hit one of the rocks. Cole or Carson could do it, but like I said before, preferably Car

"I think I'll do one more, then take it down here. Who knew that cliff diving took so much out of you?" Carson nodded in agreement. "Yea, I really should get home before dark." Carson got up then and followed Cole back up the hill. She had pretty much dried off. Her cloths were a little damp now, her hair was still wet, but her skin was dry. As they made their way back up that dreaded hill again she watched a bird circle in the sky. She decided she didn't know if it was lost or really about to dive onto it's prey. Her attention went form the sky to the ground in an almost to short amount of time but soon she just spaced and focused on keeping up. Keeping up with people always seemed like her main priority. She had nothing against being her height. Even though she was short she liked being short even though she wouldn't mind a few extra inches. She kept walking until they finally reached the starting point.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He saw that Carson was behind him, and silently prepared himself. This was going to be his final impressive one. Or what he was thinking anyways. He ran faster then he did before, and made a horitonzal turn, landing into a dive before he hit the water. Now that move, he practiced before and often. This was the first time he actually got it, so he was feeling pretty good at the moment.
He swam to the spot where he was not too long ago, laying down again. "Finally got it!" He shouted outloud to her. Cole didn't like to be a showoff, but he liked to impress himself, challenge himself. If it looked like he was showing off, he could really care less. He really could care less on what other people thought. Maybe it was different from his pack, since he knew excatally what they thought of him all the time, but he didn't think Carson would think too much of it.
Now that the sun was setting, he noticed that the waves were starting to become a little more violent then the day time. The waves were crashing down faster, bigger, and quicker. It was a good thing they were stopping now. Too much of this could be really dangerous. Not that it really mattered, since it was extremely hard to kill a werewolf on their healing. Well, it was easier to kill a werewolf then any bloodsucker, but still hard. If it was an instant kill. Or in a situation they couldn't heal. Then there was the point of getting bit by a vampire, but that wasn't going to happen here.

Carson watched Cole run and jump. She could hear the splash and then later came his yell. She couldn't help but laugh at him. Now it was Carson's turn. She hadn't planned on anything, and she thought maybe she could just do a simple flip and be down with it. She could hear the waves coming down harder then they had before, not that it scared her it just meant she couldn't do anything to stupid. Carson took a running start just as she had all the other times. Before she took off her she hesitated the slightest bit, so it wasn't a big deal. The flip was like usual and then she hit the water. She hadn't expected it but she landed before one of the somewhat powerful waves. Her body went with it for a second and her leg hit a rock sending pain through her knee. Her arm hit another rock but it wasn't near as bad. Now if she had expected it, something like this wouldn't have happened. Car came up, coughing this time. She managed to get over to near where Cole was. "Holy shit that hurt." She said holding her right wrist. Her right knee was bruised badly and could've easily been broken by the way it hurt. Her arm had very visible bruising already and her hand was tilted off to the right. Not good.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He watched Carson hit the water, almost as if it were in slow motion. He knew by the impact of the wind and the waves, and where she hit, there was a high chance she was going to hit the nearby rocks. His sitting position soon became a standing position, his eyes darting across the water. Just as he was about to call out her name, her head popped out the water.
She seemed to manage to swim out of the water. He bent down next to her, to see the damages. It wasn't too good. Her knee and elbow seemd to be out of place, broken, or dislocated. Either way, he knew it was going to heal soon. The problem was that it would heal in that position, and she would be forever crippled. Unless, of course, she broke it again and healed it in the right position, but that was too much pain.
Cole tried to seem calm, but he wasn't. His mind was rushing. He made a breif nod at her comment. By the looks of things, it hurt very bad. "Brace yourself, this is going to hurt." He told her, then touched her elbow, followed by her knee. Yes, they were both broken. Looking at where he was, the waves were coming in, so as gently as he possibly could, he picked her up bridal style.
He took small paces, just away from the water, to where it was a confratable spot. He set her down, hoping that she hadn't healed yet. "This is going to hurt worse." He told her with apoligentic eytes. His fingers lifted her arm, moving it to the proper position. Cole knew the pain she was feeling. When he had a broken leg, he remembered his mother cracking back into position for it to heal. It had to be fast, and it had to be quick. Then he did the same with the knee, but trying to do it quicker, so time didn't run out. He couldn't imagine the pain she must have felt at that moment.

click for Wolf Form"I'm fine." Carson muttered when Cole came over. "Brace yourself, this is going to hurt." Carson let go of her arm and looked away, gritting her teeth. Everyone knew she wasn't good with pain what-so-ever. She felt his fingers run over her elbow and she flinched noticeably. She hadn't even realized how much it hurt until then. And then she flinched again at the feeling of his fingers on her knee. She wanted to just yell at him to go away. She didn't want to deal with any of this and she didn't want to deal with having to tell Jason she broke herself while cliff diving. She didn't want to never be allowed out alone again, and she sure as anything didn't want to get Cole in trouble for doing the same thing. Next thing she knew Carson was being picked up. Sure even in his arms she was taller then she'd be standing, but Car also hated being carried. It made her feel small. She'd bitten Dexter Walker for picking her up before, and she would've done the same thing to Cole if she felt the need to. "This is going to hurt worse." He said when she was down. Carson shook her head and looked up at him. "No, really I'm fine." She said when he took her arm. Her teeth were clenched together when he positioned her arm and knee back into place. It felt like pins and needles plus electric shocks times twenty. Her eyes were squeezed shut and she refused to open them at first. She wanted to say 'thank you' but couldn't get herself to at the moment. Now she just had to wait for it to heal. She relaxed after a while, the pain still there but slowly calming... or she was just getting used to it. "Thanks." She said hesitantly.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall She seemed very strong through all of this. He didn't hear one scream from her, but he did see a face of pain. But he would have thought something was really wrong if she didn't feel any pain. He sat there for a moment, as if catching his own breath on how scary that was. Cole didn't like causing anyone pain, especially Carson, so this was very different for him.
He heard her say thanks, and a good feeling of heroism filled inside of him, making him smile just a little bit. "I'm sorry it hurt so much." He told her, truthfully. Maybe there was a chance this didn't go back to Jason. Whenever you were a werewolf around him, never ever think about it or something. But that was easier said then done. Still, didn't hurt to try.
Cole was still crouching over her, staying with her while she healed. It wasn't going to be a quick and easy process, such as a broken nose, and the knowledge of that, Cole just stayed even longer. "Bad luck." He said outloud, refering to the waves and how she hit the rocks. If the wind would have or waves would have been any less violent, they would probably be heading home by now. Or if she hit the water any farther, she might have swam , maybe just kicking the rock with her foot, leaving her with a sore foot. Anything else would have been fine. Besides dealth, but he didn't know how that could have happened.

click for Wolf FormShe was sitting straight up, her right leg was straight out in front of her and her left leg was bent. Her right arm stayed straight at her side while her left hand was in a fist on her knee. Carson was still practically floored that she had this kind of bad luck. "I'm sorry it hurt so much." Carson just shrugged and cringed slightly forgetting how bad it hurt to move that arm at all. He did what he had to, and she respected that even if at the time it happened she wanted to yell at him to go away and leave her alone. "Bad luck." She rolled her eyes knowing he was totally right. "No kidding." She said. Honestly Car had only broken her collar bone before, and that was before her wolf days so it had to heal normally at normal pace. Besides that she had never broken anything. It was surprising really because she was the one always on the trampoline doing crazy things and landing in ways people should die from. Then she looked up at Cole again who was still in front of her. "For the record, this never happened." She said looking over at her bruised knee only because she couldn't see her elbow and she really didn't want to move. She wasn't worried about explaining bruises to Jason, it was the whole jumping off a cliff thing that may throw him over the edge. She really didn't want that to happen, they were fighting eough as it was.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole had actually, to what he say, great luck. Everything was running smoothly for him, so it was hard to think of someone with not so great of luck, like Carson. She seemed to be hurting with every move she took, which made Cole flinch a little bit each time. It looked so painful... he wouldn't imagine if it had to heal by itself.
He shook his head, forcing a smile on his face, "Not at all." The normal response would have been something like 'what happened', but Cole was more original then that. Though what happeend was a good response, he wasn't in the mood to be smart witted right now. "It's going to be difficult though." He told her, refering to Jason.
He could just picture Jason's face if he ever found out. Cole would probably end up with some broken bones, himself. Jason was a really protective guy, so this would get a little out of hand if he found out what happened. So, in a way, it made Cole more pressured into not thinking about it, which was a good thing. But it just took one little slip.
He was still in front of her, not far away from her face. He wans't sure excatally why, but more of he felt that he should be there. Maybe it was the pack taking care of another wolf insicts. That was the only reason Cole could think of it that way.

click for Wolf FormHis response made her smile. It was nice knowing she wasn't the only one with the secret this time. "It's going to be difficult though." She shook her head. It wasn't as hard when used to it. "Just never think about it, then no one will tell either." Her voice was soft. There was someone telling on Lucy and Car, and it pissed Carson off that Jason wouldn't tell her who it was, and whoever it was was good at hiding it. Car really wanted to cross her arms, move her legs, just get up and it killed her that she couldn't. Cole was still in front of her and her eyes met his. The pain in her arm was dying down, but her knee was still equally as bad as it had been. The sound of the waves crashing in the background was peaceful, and the sun was close to setting. Great, she'd never make it home in time now. Great...

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole noddd, not wanting to say what he was thinking, which was easier said then done. It was going to be difficult not to think about it. Cole often liked to let his mind wander, and now he would have to be careful on what he thought about, without thinking about it.
He saw that the setting was starting to get dark. Now he was trying to think of an excuse to give when they weren't going to get home on time. Cole could easily tell his parents what happened. He trusted them enough not to tell Jason, for they knew what would happen if they did. So, that wasn't the problem. Carson, however, was another story.
Cole had an idea, but he didn't want to go right ahead and do it, because he couldn't imagine Carson being all find and dandy with just walking into a plan without at least asking her. "Do you want me to carry you home so your not terribly late?" He asked. He knew she could heal on the way, and hope it was healed once they reached the house. He could run like hell was after him, getting home on time, but then the wound may not have healed. Ugh, so much was complicated in this plot.

It was getting darker by the second and Carson was still trying to think of a legit excuse for being home late. "Do you want me to carry you home so your not terribly late?" Carson tipped her head back to look at the sky. "Eh.." Was her response. She hated being carried and having no control over what she was doing. Car looked down at her knee really quick. She figured it'd be like an almost break by now. Was it good enough to walk on? Before Carson attempted to walk she shrugged her shoulder lightly. It was better but it was already healing much faster then her knee. At the moment her shoulder felt like how it would when it ad been popped out of place and then put back. Her knee felt somewhat numb, but the pain she could deal with while she kept off of it. Carson slide backward using the strength from her other leg to push her back. "I'd rather walk and deal with it... no offense."Carson looked down and inhaled before she stood up only putting pressure on her good leg. Her shoulder was still bearable, but her knee felt somewhat tingly. She took a step forward using the healing leg. As soon as her foot touched the ground with even the slightest pressure the pain started shooting through her leg. Her shut her eyes tightly, but sort of collapsed before the next step. She shook her head. "This isn't working." She said quietly shaking her head.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He knew that Carson didn't like being carried, but she didn't have much of a choice in right now. But, she instisted she would try to walk it off. Cole nodded briskly, and frowned when she said no offense. He didn't perticularly like that response, because just because you say it, doesn't make it not offensive. But he wasn't offended to begin with, so it really didn't matter.
Cole started standing up, backing a little bit so he didn't end up in her face, but kept close incase she fell. She did, but she did it on purpose since it seemed to hurt too much. He wished he could walk off a broken knee. Turns out, Carson wished the same thing. He went back to her level, puzzling on what to do.
Taking a deep sigh, he shook his head, "I know you don't like being carried, and I don't like the complaining about it, but it's rather that, you try to walk it off again, or we get home late." He gave her, her opinions, and felt a little bad she didn't have much. No matter what she did, it was going to cause some frusration and pain, rather emotionally or physically.

"I know you don't like being carried, and I don't like the complaining about it, but it's rather that, you try to walk it off again, or we get home late." Carson rolled her eyes, her head tilted to the side as she thought about it. She really didn't mind being home late, the last the she was scared of was Jason. At the same time though she didn't want to be keeping Cole any longer then he had to be there. Her thoughts travel to how her story would go. She figured she could say something like she was walking in the forest. She sat down in the grass of a meadow (still not a lie yet), and then she fell asleep and lost track of time. Sure it was sketchy in some places, and who knows, maybe Jason would be able to see right through it... but it was worth a try. "You don't have to stay. I'm going to heal for sure so it's not like I'll never get home." Her words were soft and a little quieter then normal. It was dark enough that Carson could no longer see the water, only hear the waves crashing against the shore. She could see her knee, slightly purple but way better looking. She decided she'd try to walk one more time. Carson got back up and balanced. She took a few steps forward. They were nothing graceful and sure she was limping and hiding the fact that it hurt like hell. She smiled after realizing she could just go at this pace... all the way back home.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole saw her attempt again, and started to relax a little. It was hard to see her, but with his keen eyes, he could see the figure of her, and thats all he needed. He walked as slowly beside her, knowing it was going to take forever to get home, but it would probably heal half way there at this pace. Cole wondered if the effect of walking would do anything to her healing, but he didn't think so.
He nodded, "I know." With this, he also made a shrugg in the dark, "but I'm not going to just leave you." It didn't seem right to just leave her, espeically when she was like this. It wasn't like a random vampire was going to come out and attack her, but his instincts told him to stay with his loyal packmate. Besides, something could possibly happen out of the oridnary that might not be so incredibly pleasant.
Besides, if he arrived with her at Jasons, maybe Jason wouldn't ask so much questions. What would look better? Coming home at this time at night by yourself covered in endless bruises, or coming back home at night with someone older and safe looking with endless bruises all over you. Cole could imagine the second choice would be so much easier for her. Besides, his parents would understand. They were pretty flexable, as long as he didn't get himself killed.
