click for Wolf FormThey walked at a really slow pace, but with every other step Carson was reminded why she was going so slow. Granted the pain subsided just a little in her knee, and she was sure that her shoulder had healed well enough by now. Even with her shoulder healed it still kind of hurt to move it. Did it heal right? Oh my god what will happen when I phase? No shut up Carson, your fine! She ranted to herself until she heard Cole's voice. The sound made her snap out of the internal argument and pay attention to the outside world again. "Well you can if you need or want to." She said with a shrug. Truth to it was it'd be a lot easier to make up a story if someone was there to back it up. It was really dark now, like she should already be home. Carson bit her lip thinking about how she was going to explain this to Jason and not think about it. How was she going to not think about it when she was freaking out about how she would phase? Crson kept her slow pace and as she did each step became easier. That was a good thing at least. She wanted to look down and see about the bruising. Surely it was inviable by now, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to be able to feel it. After a while of thinking Car gave up and turned her head toward Cole. "Do you have any ideas on what i should tell Jason?" All she could see was his silhouette in the darkness. That was good enough for her though. She really didn't want to have to walk home alone.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall He was glad she didn't make him leave. She seemed to be going the same pace, so Cole was curious how long it took different werewolves to heal. It would be an interesting experiment... if Cole was even into school work. Hell, he would do it if he had an interest in something as simple as science, but he didn't. He found Science useless now that he was a werewolf and knew that some things they said were impossible, were frankly, very possible. So possible, that Cole spent most of his time doing it, which was killing an immortal.
He thought about her question for a little bit. He wasn't sure what to say to Jason, and thought she would have come up with something by now. It wasn't really a great thing to have that at the back of your mind, that Jason might find out the truth, but there was a chance he wouldn't. Cole thought for a moment, not quite sure what to say.
"Did you have an original plan? Maybe we could create something to say off of that." He said with a small shrugg.

click for Wolf FormThe breeze came though the trees as they continued to walk through the forest and back to the reservation. "Did you have an original plan? Maybe we could create something to say off of that." Carson had to think on that. "Not really." She said still thinking, but the thoughts were useless. Carson acted without thinking, not like this was the first or last time that would happen, but the point was she didn't think about the affect of her actions. Her slow pace was starting to get on her nerves now. She hated going this slow for a long amount of time. She didn't mind human slow, but slower then that was pushing it. Carson started lengthening her step, trying to farther faster.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole wasn't the best at coming up with plans, especially under the clock. He noticed Carson's pace sped up, and guessed she was starting to feel better. This was good. Cole was now expecting it to heal once they got there. That is, at least, if she was walking faster because it felt a little better. You could never really come to a conclusion with Carson. It was always so different in so many different ways.
He tried not to let that distract him. Jason wasn't going to be happy, no matter what they told him, but he was trying to figure the least unhappy. He was also trying to think of something typical Carson would do. "You could say you fell asleep, and I happened to come by, and I woke you up. Once we get to the house, there shouldnt' be any bruises or anything for a while." He told her, trying to sound all perfessional like.
He remembered hearing about Carson and Lucy on the beach, when later finding out they ran into a vampire. It seemed whenever Carson was alone or just with one other person, she seemed to have the worst luck on her side.

click for Wolf FormWhen Cole spoke Carson nodded in agreement. It was easy enough to believe, so it should work just fine. "Sounds believable." She said with a smile. Her eyes still focused forward. They were at least on the res now, that was a plus. As much as Car hated the dark, she kind of liked it now. She didn't want to go home and leave it. Maybe I'll sleep on the trampoline tonight. She thought to herself. "Thanks again for your help." It was sort of unexpected, but when she ran the day back in her head she realized what kind of trouble she would've gotten into without Cole there. She would've jumped sooner or later, with people there on not anyways, so that wasn't his fault. Her knee would've healed wrong without him there and that would be a free ticket for Jason to get mad again. Carson focused her eyes on the path. Finally almost there.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole felt satisfaction in his system as she agreed with him. For something so simple, it seemed like a long time to figure out, which was amusing to him. On top of that, it was so simple, but something like that was likely to happen. It was more likely to happen then what actually happened anyways. Now the hardest part was keeping this secret, never thinking about it. There was someone leaking information to Jason, though no one knew except Jason, who was excellent at hiding things.
Well, what was done was done, they couldn't change it, and they had to completely forget about it. Which was going to be easier said then done, but doable. Cole saw a very faint glow, far away. Only about, what, little less then have a mile to go? Cole wasn't very good at judging distances. It seemed that way though, since it was the only light in the deep dark, who knows how far away it was.
"No problem. You would have done the same for me." He shrugged, acutally not sure if she would or not. Carson, like said before, was very hard to predict, so you could never guess what she was going to do. You always had to flip a coin, and still then, it was a fifty fifty percent chance you were correct on guessing.

click for Wolf FormCarson was finally thinking things were better and she could finally walk again. Her steps lengthened and a small smile spread across her face. She could barely feel it now. Hopefully nothing will be wrong when I phase. If all goes well Jason will never know! The thought of this whole thing actually working out made her really happy. "No problem. You would have done the same for me." Car nodded. "True." She said to herself. Lights were visible by now and it wasn't much longer until she finally got home. She sighed a little, her head tilted to the side slightly and she could feel her braids shift in front of her shoulders. She was completely dry now, not even her hair was wet. She could feel how her shirt took on it's own shape instead of sticking to hers, and her jeans were no longer even the slightest bit damp. Now it was perfect, Jason would have no reason to suspect anything, right? As they neared the house Carson really didn't want to have to go in. It wasn't that she didn't want to lie to Jason, she was used to that. It was just something about having to go and end her moment of no one getting on her nerves. She really didn't want that. She'd rather break her knee ten more times. Well maybe not that extreme. As she thought about herself going back inside her mind drifted off to other things. They were stupid things like what she was going to wear to school all the way to things like what stores she wanted to shop at next time she went shopping. That was the way her mind worked, it was random. They were at the driveway now. Carson really didn't want to go in now. She really considered sleeping on the trampoline or something but she knew it wouldn't really happen. Carson listened to her footsteps and Cole's. "Are you going to tell your parents?" She asked him as she stopped at the edge of the concrete driveway. Her eyes focused up toward Cole and that was when she realized how tall he really was. You'd think she would've noticed that before while walking with him for a while. Then again, Carson's mind worked differently, it was more random.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall They started getting closer to the house, and he started to check himself for anything out of the oridinary. He dried a long time ago, and Cole was always getting himself wet one way or another. And once Jason figured out that Carson 'fell asleep' by the cliffs, then he would have to assume that Cole went cliff diving. But what was Jason going to do to Cole? Make him run more patrols? Not very likely. Even if that was, how could he possibly put more patrols then he normally was.
He wasn't sure how presentable looked, but he wasn't too worried about it. Carson was proven to take good care of herself. Yes, everyonce in a while, she needed a hande, since she was only fifteen after all. Then again, Cole shouldn't be talking. He was only sixteen, a year older then her. He seemed to be doing quite well with his indepence, but maybe a year did make all of that difference. It didn't seem that way, however.
Cole made a small shrugg as they reached the driveway, "I'm not sure. If they ask, sure. I trust them not to tell, since they haven't done it before with past situation." Cole was in a really good relaitonship with his parents, and they or him wern't about to ruin it. He did what he was told, which wasn't much, and he let them know he was always safe, which is one of the reasons he should have been getting home soon, but they were probably asleep by now.
"Do you think Jason is awake?" He asked, suddenly thinking of that. He didn't want to go peering into the window, in case he was awake and gave everyone a heartattack. Jason was always tired, so it wasn't like it wasn't an impossiblity.

click for Wolf Form"I'm not sure. If they ask, sure. I trust them not to tell, since they haven't done it before with past situation." These words made Carson feel better about this whole situation. She figrued he trusted his parents not to say anything, and it was fine with her. She didn't care if the whole world knew, even if Jason found out in maybe a year or so it wouldn't be bad. She just didn't want him to know now. It wasn't like she expected him to never find out that she pretty much crushed her knee and shoulder, that was kind of something he should know anyways. It was more that Carson didn't want to hear the speech about how what she did was stupid. She already knew that, it wasn't like someone had to tell her. And worst of all, when something happened like the beach incedent all trust in her seemed to be lost. That had to be the worst thing. Last time she was followed by Jason he imprinted, what could possibly be next? "Do you think Jason is awake?" He had a really good point there. If Jason was alseep she could just sneak up to bed or something, if he wasn't. that meant questions. Great. Carson had to think for a second about what time it was. She susually went to bed at 11:30, and he stayed up longer then her. "Um.. I would think no, but maybe today he's really tired. No actually cross your fingers for that second option." She said without taking her eyes off the house. She crossed her fingers hoping that maybe it would work this time, not that crossing your fingers worked ever. Carson looked down at her knee and even ran her fingers over it. It still felt bruised, but from what she could see it looked as if nothing happened. Her shoulder was compleatly fine, perfect. Now if she could just stay away from running into things (which she did often) and everything would be fine. Maybe this really would work after all.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole trusted her on that, since she knew him at home better then anyone else. He actually didn't think that Jason would stay up that late, but according to Carson, he did. Then again, Cole was just guessing the way he was always upright like a solider ready for battle. In fact, now actually thinking about it, Jason hardly ever yawned or made any gesture that he was tired. But that was also the military strict Jason.
"Let's hope." He said with a sideways smile. He wasn't going to go up to the house until Carson was, so he wasn't making an move toward it. He was tempted to peek through the window to see if he was asleep, but he couldn't imagine Jason handling a guy peeking through his window, weither he knew them or not.
He thought about the day, and besides the whole breaking bones thing, Cole actually, weirdly, had a good time. The time before then was great, and the time in between when her leg wasn't hurting and they wern't worrying... it was kind of ... fun! Cole would have never though to use that word for the day, but after thinking over everything, it was actually really fun. He had a good time with Carson, and didn't get to see her outside of the pack very often.
"We should try this again sometime. Without the whole breaking bones thing, if you don't mind." He added with a soft laugh. The laugh had to be soft since it was so quiet outside.

click for Wolf Form "We should try this again sometime. Without the whole breaking bones thing, if you don't mind." Carson snapped her fingers. "But that was my favorite part. She said quietly. Car shook her head after a short moment. "But seriously, yea. It was fun." She said as she started to walk up the driveway. Her mind drifted off to how Jason would take her being home so late. She wasn't scared of him, and she found it funny when he tried to act like her dad. Really, what would happen if her didn't like the person she imprinted on in the future... if she imprinted ever. Her steps were slowing as she looked into the windows as she walked along the short pathway. There were lights on for sure, but that could've been from her own stupidity. The plan was set though, she fell asleep and Cole found her. Legit, right? Hopefully it was good enough. It had to be good enough. Carson pressed down on the handle that was supposed to turn the knob on the other side of the door. Her thumb was stopped and Car sighed in frustration and tipped her head back. "Shit. Just what needed to happen." She mumbled. She felt no need to announce to Cole that the door was locked, she figured he was smart enough to figure that one out on his own. Now she wondered how Jason would take her and Cole together. It wasn't that she was never with him that made her wonder, but she figured that because Cole was like the joker of the pack and basically a lot like herself in a taller, male-er version it might trigger something. Carson bit her lip and let go of the handle to cross her arms. She thought about it and wondered if the back door would be unlocked, but she locked that before she left. Her arms unfolded and Carson being well, Carson she rang the doorbell and continued to until she got some sort of signal that someone was coming. "Well, no matter what now he'll be awake." She said still pressing the button repeatedly.

"I'm Not Sure If I Even Want To Know"Jason Black Jason wasn't alseep. How could he sleep when he was busy wondering when Carson was gettig home? Her phone was left at the house, and she wasn't with anyone. Jason's mind started to wander to the worst, as most brothers did. The problem she would run into probably wouldn't be human, as if that happened, Carson could probably toss that person off of her with no effort and run for it. He wasn't worried about any creepy sicko humans getting after her.
He was afraid of any bloodsuckers getting to her. She was going to be alone, and what a better time for a bloodsucker to lower the number of werewolves in the area. The thought made Jason shiver. She was going to be in SO much trouble when she got home... if she got home. This worrying was also making Jason tired, so he had to force himself awake, always waiting for someone at the door.
He sat watching TV, and then heard the doorbell ring. Jason prayed to God that it was her, not the police saying she was attacked by some sort of sick, wild animal. He ran to the door at an inhuman pace, answering it before the third last 'ding-dong' finished. To his relief, it was Carson.
He wasn't sure if he wanted to yell at her until people from miles away could hear the entire conversation, or cry hestaractly and hug her to the fact that she was safe. He decided to go for something in the middle. Though, he was too tired to deal with this now. He looked over and saw that Cole was with her, and wanted to know excataly what happened. "Anyone would like to explain?" He asked.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall Cole walked up to the door, his hands in his pockets and looking more like his casual self. He stood next to her, seeing that the door was locked, thinking Wow, luck. Their luck wasn't the best today, but hopefully, it would just get better from here. If your at the bottom of your luck chain, then there was more of a chance that it was going to go up, but Cole wasn't sure.
He saw that Jason answered the door, a little surprised at his figure. His hair was messed in a bunch, and his eyes looked like they desperatly needed sleep. Ignoring that, he explained before Carson did. "She just fell asleep and I happened to be by there, woke her up, took her home." Cole shrugged.

click for Wolf FormWhen Jason opened the door Carson was on a doorbell ringing streak and when Jason opened the door on three, she rang one more time and stopped. "Anyone would like to explain?" He said and Carson opened her mouth, but Cole talked instead. That she was grateful for. She nodded after Cole spoke. "Uh huh." Her voice was normal, she wasn't tired what so ever. Before going into the house she noticed how awful Jason really looked at the moment. "You look awful." Carson's comment was directed toward Jason, it was random but nothing out of the ordinary on her part. She could feel no breeze at all at the moment and it bothered her, sort of. Carson quickly rewound her brain to a few seconds ago to Jason's reaction. She figured that it was pretty normal, even a little more calm then she expected. She wanted to turn to Cole and say 'So you still don't want to trade?' but she didn't... for now. Carson nodded and looked from Jason to Cole. "Well thanks again, Cole." She said with a smile. Carson had to hold back her laughter. She knew what she really meant, and figured he'd get it too. She couldn't thank him enough really.

"I'm Not Sure If I Even Want To Know"Jason Black Jason was actually expecting Carson to answer, but Cole would work too. He wasn't sure which one he trusted least: his sister who had been in trouble out of all and wouldn't want Jason to figure out anything, or a sixteen year old that acted like he was 12. Both of them together wasn't something Jason wasn't 100% sure what he was dealing with, but it was better with one not the other. At least Cole, so far, had never lied to Jason. Then again, Cole never really had the chance to.
After staring at both of them for a long time, he sighed. Sleeping would really be something Carson would do on a day off. "As long as no bloodsuckers were involved." He said through gritted teeth. He wasn't having the best week in the world, and he doubted it was going to get better. He looked Carson over, seeing if there was anything that supported their story. Well, her hair was defitnally a mess, like she had been swimming or something, but he could see how sleeping made hair that way.
Sighing, he nodded. He believed the story. But all the while, it seemed too simple. Carson had the worst luck, but maybe today was a lucky day, for her at least. He was about to speak when his sister commented on his messy hair and droopy eyes. He made a nod, too tired to argue. Worrying made him tired, and after worrying all night, he was more tired then normal. He needed to catch up on his sleep, so he was probably going to bed really early, maybe as soon as they walk in. "Tired." He commented.
He hoped their goodbye was fast, because he was about to fall asleep standing up.

"Let's Bail Out Of Here!"Cole Westfall For a while of Jason staring back and forth one at them, Cole had the fear he wasn't going to believe them. They would have to stick to their story, or it wouldn't work. Sometimes people tested you, saying they didn't believe you to see if you changed your story. If you did change the story, it was obviously a lie. If you kept to it, it was rather you were a good lyer, or you were actually telling the truth. Most people believed in the second option.
He was thankful, though, that he believed them. "No leeches." Cole said with a sideways smile, being his laidback self. Maybe it would have been better if a bloodsucker was there. Cole and Carson would probably get props for killing it. Or whatever they did with it. He didn't think Jason would be very happy if he got away, but still.
Cole realized that Carson was right. He did look awful. He must have been pretty tired. Cole laughed silently because as soon as he thought that, Jason said it outloud. Though, it still looked like he hadn't slept in many days. Maybe that was just Cole. Carson's voice interupted him.
Focusing that they were getting pass a lie, he smiled, "No problem, Carson, anytime." The anytime, he hoped didn't confuse her on she should get hurt anytime, but more of, 'besides that, it was fun, we should do it again sometime' but he also mentioned that eariler. He turned to Jason, "See ya, bro." He make a quick nod, turning around to head to his own home in his own house. As soon as he stepped off of the driveway, he bolted toward his house at an inhuman speed, disappearing from the scene.
