"Damn it! Will someone please let me out of here?!”
Usually the student would not use profanity so loudly, but she was quite perturbed. What made this even more obvious was that she let out a heavy sigh and a frustrated growl from behind the door of the broom cupboard. She beat against the door a few more times in hopes that someone would hear her and help her out. She had tried many times to unlock the door and to force it out of the way, but there was no avail. The door would not give in to her spell-casting, no matter what spells she performed. She wasn’t just using alohomora, either; she was using a few advanced spells. The funny thing about it all was that absolutely nothing was working.
“What the hell…” she said lowly and leaned her head against the door. She sighed heavily and closed her eyes tightly, wondering whether or not she was stuck in a nightmare of some kind. When she opened her eyes to see darkness again, she let out a groan and flicked her wand without saying another word. A light illuminated its tip and filled the small broom cupboard. She glanced around. Surrounding her was a conglomeration of things: brooms, mops, cleaning supplies. She sighed.
How did she end up in that cupboard anyway? The only thing she could remember was walking down the third floor corridor, humming as she did so. When she reached a door to which she had no idea where it went, the door suddenly swung open, and she was thrown, seemingly by force, into the broom cupboard. She had fallen upon the brooms, mops, buckets, and other supplies with an oomph and a slight gasp of pain and surprise. When she managed to stand on her feet and find the doorknob, she rubbed the back of her head and ran her fingers through her curls.
“Man…” she said to herself and whined a bit. She started to beat on the door once again. “Hello?! Is there anyone out there?! Can someone help me?! Pleeeeaaaaseee?” She let out a faint laugh at herself. She knew that she probably sounded pathetic from the inside of a broom cupboard. But it really wasn’t her fault… it was something else’s fault… Whose or what’s fault she had no idea… but it wasn’t hers--that was for sure." [/center]
