 Best known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the cable car and a school. The Galileo Academy can only be seen by those who know about it. It was created for the creatures that needed to hide away, that couldn’t survive among the humans anymore. But it wasn't always like this.
Centuries ago all creatures lived along side each other, happy and carefree. Humans, vampires, werewolves, nymphs, witches, elves, they all lived in peace. It wasn’t until the human race started to notice that the others were more powerful that things started to change. They became hungry for power, and would not stop taking anything and everything. The era best known to the humans as The Witch Trial s began, and the creatures were all caught off guard.
So many were murdered and the creatures realized that they couldn't just kill the entire human race. They went into hiding. The vampires, werewolves, witches and elves all tried their best to live among the humans. The nymphs however, ran to their home, into nature and hid away. One individual was chosen from every species to keep an eye on everyone else, and make sure that everyone was keeping to the rules. They could not allow another witch hunt like the last.
Centuries went by and the creatures still lived in hiding, but were no longer burned to death. They lived in secrecy among the ignorance humans. But because they wanted a place of their children to be educated and free, the Galileo Academy was created. A school, a place where the creatures could be themselves and have a ‘normal’ childhood. Everything seemed to be working out just as it was supposed to be.
It wasn’t until the leaders noticed a shift in the balance in the world. It was then, that the leaders realized that the humans were evolving. They performed powers, powers which was only seen performed by the other species have. The council came together and decided that they needed to keep their enemies close, so they could watch them. The powerless needed to stay unaware about the whole situation. Everything needed to be done to prevent a new hunt. For the first time in the history of the Galileo Academy, humans are allowed. They have much to learn, much to find out and even more to fear.
After all these years, finally the vampires, werewolves, nymphs, witches, elves and the humans are together once again.
