AND WHEN WE GO, DON'T BLAME US we'll let the fires just bathe us, yeah ! A day out on the town—that was what Ella was suppose to have. She was suppose to “go out and have some fun” with her “friends.” Which was funny, because Ella could not think of a single one of her friends that would want to spend the day walking around a tourist trap. But she had been kicked out of the house despite her protesting, and now she was wandering along the streets of Port Angeles, slightly angry with herself for not just hanging around in town. What was there for her to do here?
Nothing.
With a sigh, Ella jerked her head slightly so her perfectly straight, light blond hair stayed out of her eyes that were today lined with makeup that was applied with some swirls included. The air was sort of chilly, yet all Ella was wearing was a tee shirt that proclaimed her love for Green Day and jeans that were cuffed at the bottom due to the fact that Ella was on the shorter side, and the pants were actually borrowed from a girl from drama club.
Boredom washed over Ella and she leaned against a brick building, deciding aimlessly walking around the busy town was pointless. She let her gaze rest on the streets where cars drove by. After a few moments she noted the clear difference between tourists (who were typically driving slow and stared out the windows) and people who were familiar with the area (who sped by all the fancy buildings without as much as a glance to their side). Studying all the different people in the vehicles quickly got old, though, and Ella turned to the side, looking around for something else to do.

"Drop me off here." Carson's voice shattered the silence between her and the taxi driver. It wasn't like an awkward silence, more of a leave me alone silence. He jerked to car to the curb ad let her out. Car paid him the money from her pocket and turned quickly waling down the tourist fill sidewalk. Her black flip flops clicked against her heels, her hair was in a low messy bun, she wore very torn up jean shorts and a white tank top. It was her normal attire, but usually she wouldn't be caught dead in a city like this. It was just like a huge tourist attraction, but her question was what attracted them here? Carson stopped for a moment. She just needed time to take a breath really quick. As she started walking back she ran right into someone else. Just her luck right? "O-Oh sorry!" She quickly apologized. The girl she ran into had really blonde hair, and Car instantly noticed her make-up and thought it was actually really cool looking. "I like your eye liner." She commented as if she was asked if she liked it. That was just Carson for you though.

AND WHEN WE GO, DON'T BLAME US we'll let the fires just bathe us, yeah ! Gaze still dancing about the street, trying to find something halfway interesting, Ella heard the unmistakable sound of flip-flops clapping against bare feet, and she started to turn but did so slowly, because this whole boredom thing was making her feel slightly tired. Before she could fully turn around, though, Ella felt the impact of someone walking into her-- whoever had been wearing flip-flops, no doubt. A small yelp flew from her, and she stumbled forward. But luckily, with the help of her flailed arms, she caught herself.
Well, she certainly wasn't tired now, or bored. Whipping around to see who on earth had hit her, Ella mentally gave her person one last assessment. Pain? Anywhere? No sprains? Alright, great. And then she let her eyes swoop over the figure. Deciding not to be mad about the collision, she mumbled, "s'okay," and paused. What were you suppose to say after someone ran into you? She stood there, staring, wondering just that.
But she didn't have to wonder much longer after the silence was broken again, to her great relief. Blushing slightly, she smiled. Really, she hadn't had all that many people compliment her on her style before. "Thank you. Thank you very much." Her smile turned to one of pride and she straightened up again. She was going to look over the girl's clothes again and find something to compliment her on, but she was distracted once realizing she didn't know this girl. "I'm Ella."

Car took note of the girl's name. Ella was what she had called herself. The younger girl nodded, "I'm Carson." She simply replied. This girl, Ella had a more city kind of look to her, but she wasn't a tourist or anything. Or at least she didn't look it. Even though Carson liked her look she quickly thought of herself with that sort of clothing or make-up. It wouldn't work for someone like her. Her skin was just to tan and freckled, her hair to long and to brown, and her eyes were to... brown. That sort of style had to come with some noticeable qualities. Almost vampire like qualities. No, no, no, no, no. This girl wasn't a blood sucker, Carson knew that as a fact. Though the smell of bleach was in the area, this girl wasn't it's source. Carson's chocolate brown eyes seemed to drift quickly to someone passing. They kind of scared her into keeping her eyes down as she shoved the sleek silver phone into her front pocket. By the time she looked up she was free from stares. People who didn't live around here were probably wondering what a girl so young would be doing wandering the streets of a busy city either alone or with this blonde girl. Ella. Well they didn't know that Carson could easily kill them faster then they could beg for mercy... not that she was like that anyway. "Yea, so wanna come shoe shopping with me? My last pair of Sperry's kind of broke so I want to get new ones... but I'm also hear to buy cloths and stuff.. and if you need help shopping I can help you." Carson started rambling and by the end she clamped her lips together. "Sorry, I ramble."

AND WHEN WE GO, DON'T BLAME US we'll let the fires just bathe us, yeah ! Ella nodded, then looked down the street for a moment as more cars zoomed by. "'Nice to meet you, Carson," she replied, almost out of reflexive politeness than anything else. Though, she was really happy that Carson was here now. Looking away from the automobiles, she thought about her daily plans-- or lack of.
As she thought about the possibility of she and Carson hanging out, all the while keeping a stance that was a mixture of awkwardness (for the pride had worn off) and boredom (which was creeping back up on her already), Ella noted that Carson didn't look like the person that would normally want to hang out with her. Or talk to her, even. She was pretty, but yet, she wasn't the blond-haired girl with pink high heels and lipstick that would quickly reject Ella, which was why she hadn't ran away after the collision. Was there friend potential? With this in mind, Ella still remained cautious.
And then Ella was pleasantly shocked. This new girl who she'd just happened to run into wanted to go shopping with her. Had the makeup really had that much affect? The joking thought touched her fresh happiness with humor, making her a tad hyper, yet somehow she was still slightly gaurded. "Really?" Feeling energized again, she nodded. "Yeah! I mean, that'd be great. I was basically just going to walk around all day anyways." The smile returned and suddenly she felt hyper. Was she really in that much need of socialization? Must be. Hearing the apology, she dismissed it with a simple, "don't worry about it." Most of her friends had some sort of habit-- babbling didn't bother Ella.
"That's really nice of you to invite me. Where is it you're wanting to go then?" Her eyes scanned the part of town she could see, eager now. This ought to be fun.
